The 2023 mens College World Series could not have gotten off to a more exciting start as Oral Roberts shocked No. 2 seed Arkansas in the opening game of the tournament. The Golden Eagles rallied from a 4-0 deficit to win 6-5 in 11 innings. It was the first time since 2011 that a No. 2 seed had lost in the opening round of the College World Series.
